Some of you have been patients for many of the 48 years I was in practice, and I have had the privilege of caring for you, your children and even your grandchildren. Although my practice began as a pediatric ophthalmologist on Medical Drive, I rarely stopped seeing my patients as they grew up. Many were cared for by my wonderful optometric associate Jiri Mladek. We moved to a larger office on North country Road for a second decade until building the Village Eye Care building where Dr. Moylan provided excellent optometric care along with Dr. Mladek. Not having been pleased with the absence of control for the quality of eyeglasses being made for my patients, I partnered with my daughter Danielle to create Optical Outfitters to simply get all my patients wearing glasses fit properly so that my prescriptions and goals for spectacles were made to my satisfaction.  I have found in recent years taking care of more adults, with and without the need for prism spectacles, a pleasure and am proud to be one of the last independent Ophthalmologists around to keep patient care at the top of the list and think out of the big business box.
