Optical Outfitters IS OPEN and has re-located to 158 E. Main St., Port Jefferson village and we are PROUD to return quality goods to the iconic Reruns location in the heart of Port Jefferson Village and bring the 1st ever Sunglass Store to East Main. As an optical AND accessory boutique we will offer a large collection of non prescription sunglasses that can also be prescribed in addition to the personalized eyeglass fitting for our patients plus the wares to complete a look or simply gift.

When Dr. Cossari opened Optical Outfitters with his daughter 30 years ago he initially wanted to simply get all his kids wearing glasses made right as it seemed nothing out there was properly made. And so it began as the dispensary evolved with his practice to fit adults too with the same kind of thinking out of the box. And now I am proud to continue this tradition in a world where one-to-one care with an expert is non-existant in an ever growing "Big business" medical climate.
