Polarized Lenses

Polarized
Benefits

What are the benefits of polarized lenses?

Polarized lenses reduce glare from the sun.

Polarized lenses will help you see through water on a sunny day.

Polarized lenses will help you see clearer when there's snow on the ground on a sunny day.

Polarized lenses do not reduce the amount of light coming into your eye like tinted lenses, it reduces the glare coming directly at you as well as bouncing off other objects, like the hood of the car when you're driving if there's snow on it or it's wet. Polarized lenses will ease with the effect of driving during dusk or dawn when the sun is directly in your line of sight, below the visor.

Polarized lenses work properly when there is an anti-reflective coating on the back surface of the lens. This is to ensure that any light coming from behind does not bounce off the lens and back into your eye causing glare, it forces the light through and out the front of the lens.

Polarized lenses are a crucial part of any professional fisherman, pilot, driver and the military for many years. Unfortunately, the public in general are not too aware of the benefits of polarized lenses anyone can appreciate having significantly higher clarity and crisp vision.
